Founded in 2005 by Major Eric Schwalm (United States Air Force – Retired). As a talented, proven wartime helicopter pilot, Eric experienced firsthand the importance of accuracy, dependability and the necessity of safely accomplishing assigned flight missions. He has brought this tough, no-nonsense, detail oriented, safety-first approach to this emerging business.

H2O Backflow® Inc. is a customer centered service company, exclusively performing backflow testing and related repairs – that’s it. Backflow prevention is our only focus, not an afterthought between plumbing jobs. Additionally, our customer involvement doesn't end after the field work, but rather only after the delivery of a complete and accurate test report to the customer and to the water department and, most especially, only after our customer is 100% satisfied.

All H2O Backflow® Inc. field personnel are certified to perform backflow prevention device replacement, repair and testing services in the state of South Carolina - in the water districts of Greenville, Spartanburg and Greer.  Each technician is highly trained and qualified, having received instruction, examination and certification from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, and membership in American Water Works Association and American Backflow Prevention Association. H2O Backflow® Inc.’s frequent interactions with local water purveyors and through familiarity with evolving backflow prevention requirements, ensures a safe and compliant service for all our customers.

 

Our technicians take their duties very seriously, and carry current backflow prevention assembly repair manuals, common valve replacement parts and only use state-of-the-art testing equipment, including Watts TK-99Es and TK-99Ds. All test equipment undergoes a daily inspection and a through annual verification processes.
